L'objectif visé par le terrorisme islamiste est la promotion d'une vision religieuse radicale du monde. Les organisations qui y recourent le perçoivent comme un commandement divin.
ToléranceEn général, la tolérance, du latin tolerare (supporter) et tolerantia (endurance, patience, résignation), désigne la capacité à permettre ce que l'on désapprouve, c'est-à-dire ce que l'on devrait normalement refuser. En construction ou en dessin par exemple, on dit qu'on peut tolérer une certaine marge d'erreur. Au sens moral, la tolérance est la vertu qui porte à respecter ce que l'on n'accepterait pas spontanément, par exemple lorsque cela va à l'encontre de ses propres convictions.
