We demonstrate an architecture for massively parallel frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) laser ranging (LiDAR) by transferring linear chirps of a single narrow linewidth laser onto all soliton comb teeth though generation of a dissipative Kerr soliton in an integrated Si3N4 microresonator. Laser à colorant

Laser linewidth

Laser linewidth is the spectral linewidth of a laser beam. Two of the most distinctive characteristics of laser emission are spatial coherence and spectral coherence. While spatial coherence is related to the beam divergence of the laser, spectral coherence is evaluated by measuring the linewidth of laser radiation.
