In this study, we probe the transition to cosmic homogeneity in the Large Scale Structure (LSS) of the Universe using the CMASS galaxy sample of BOSS spectroscopic survey which covers the largest effective volume to date, 3 h(-3) Gpc(3) at 0.43

Modèle ΛCDM

En cosmologie, le (se prononce « Lambda CDM », qui signifie en anglais Lambda - Cold Dark Matter, c'est-à-dire le modèle « lambda - matière noire froide ») ou modèle de concordance est un modèle cosmologique du Big Bang paramétré par une constante cosmologique notée par la lettre grecque Λ et associée à l'énergie sombre.

Principe cosmologique

La cosmologie ne peut s’envisager qu’en faisant des hypothèses simplificatrices que l’on appelle des « principes cosmologiques ». Sans cet artifice, il faudrait en effet connaître les vitesses et les positions de toutes les particules dans l’espace, ce qui est tout simplement impossible. On distingue actuellement quatre grands principes : Le principe cosmologique d'homogénéité et d'isotropie ; Le principe cosmologique parfait (ou d'équivalence temporelle) ; Le principe cosmologique global ; Le principe cosmologique de l'Univers fractal.

Inflation cosmique

L'inflation cosmique est un modèle cosmologique s'insérant dans le paradigme du Big Bang lors duquel une région de l'Univers comprenant l'Univers observable a connu une phase d'expansion très rapide qui lui aurait permis de grossir d'un facteur considérable : au moins 10 en un temps extrêmement bref, compris entre 10 et 10 secondes après le Big Bang. Ce modèle cosmologique offre une solution à la fois au problème de l'horizon et au problème de la platitude.
