Résumé

An oblivious linear function evaluation protocol, or OLE, is a two-party protocol for the function f (x) = ax + b, where a sender inputs the field elements a, b, and a receiver inputs x and learns f (x). OLE can be used to build secret-shared multiplication, and is an essential component of many secure computation applications including general-purpose multi-party computation, private set intersection and more.

Calcul multipartite sécurisé

Le calcul multipartite sécurisé (en anglais, secure multi-party computation) est une branche de la cryptographie dont l'objectif est de permettre aux agents d'un réseau de communication de calculer conjointement une fonction sur leurs entrées, afin que les entrées restent privées et que le résultat soit exact. Cela peut être réalisé, par exemple, par transferts inconscient ou par chiffrement homomorphe. Contrairement aux constructions classiques en cryptographie, où l'attaquant est extérieur au système (à la manière d’un espion), l'attaquant fait ici partie des intervenants au sein du système.

Ring learning with errors

In post-quantum cryptography, ring learning with errors (RLWE) is a computational problem which serves as the foundation of new cryptographic algorithms, such as NewHope, designed to protect against cryptanalysis by quantum computers and also to provide the basis for homomorphic encryption. Public-key cryptography relies on construction of mathematical problems that are believed to be hard to solve if no further information is available, but are easy to solve if some information used in the problem construction is known.

Ring learning with errors key exchange

In cryptography, a public key exchange algorithm is a cryptographic algorithm which allows two parties to create and share a secret key, which they can use to encrypt messages between themselves. The ring learning with errors key exchange (RLWE-KEX) is one of a new class of public key exchange algorithms that are designed to be secure against an adversary that possesses a quantum computer. This is important because some public key algorithms in use today will be easily broken by a quantum computer if such computers are implemented.
