We present an on-chip interface between terahertz and near-infrared fields for time-resolved THz detection. The double-confinement of the probe-signal inside a waveguide and the terahertz field inside a gold antenna increases the nonlinear interaction. The low optical losses and the robustness of thin-film lithium niobate allow to tune the probe power between 0.26 μW and 162 μW show reproducible signals. By investigating different device designs we aim to cover a wide range of applications in the THz detection.
