Principally influenced by thinkers of the German Conservative Revolution, de Benoist is opposed to Christianity, the rights of man, neoliberalism, representative democracy, egalitarianism; and what he sees as embodying and promoting those values, namely the United States.
Carlos (singer)Carlos (born Yvan-Chrysostome Dolto; February 20, 1943 — January 17, 2008) was a French singer, entertainer and actor. He is sometimes called Jean-Christophe Doltovitch. He was the son of the psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto and the physiotherapist Boris Dolto (born Doltovitch) a Russian migrant from Crimea. Born in Bordeaux, Moreau is a former student of the École normale supérieure de Paris (L1987) and member of the Institut universitaire de France. He taught at the Paris 12 Val de Marne University, then at the University of Nantes where he is currently professor of history of modern philosophy and philosophy of religion. His work focuses on two main fields: on the one hand, the history of 17th century philosophy, in particular Descartes and cartesianism, and on the other hand, the philosophy of religion, in particular christianity.

Onfray designated it as the first part in his trilogy Brève encyclopédie du monde. Born in Bordeaux and raised in the Yvelines, he joined the Déclic Théâtre group after quitting his sales job. There, he acted in plays and participated in improvisation events. He wrote his first one-man show, Réflexions profondes sur pas mal de trucs, in 2002 with Arnaud Joyet, and his second, Chose Promise, in 2007 with Joyet and François Rollin.
Charles de VillersCharles François Dominique de Villers (4 November 1765 – 26 February 1815) was a French philosopher. He was mainly responsible for translating the philosophy of Immanuel Kant into the French language. Villers was born in Boulay-Moselle, France. He studied at the Benedictine College in Metz, and then became a student of the School of Applied Artillery of Metz. He attained the rank of captain. Like other officers of that era, such as the artillery colonel Armand Marie Jacques de Chastenet of Puysegur, he became interested in animal magnetism.
