A Regulation-Based View on Business Process and Supporting System Flexibility

Maintaining flexible business processes is a difficult task since a business process typically satisfies the needs of several stakeholders. In this pa-per we examine organizational flexibility and business processes from the point of view of the regulation of relationships between stakeholders. We then pro-pose a set of high-level requirements for business process support systems for the maintenance of business process flexibility.
