Résumé

A new application in the nano-biosensing field gives proof that the coupling of nanofabricated wires exhibiting mem- ristive electrical characteristics and DNA-aptamers, may provide definitely innovative nano-bio-sensors for ultrasensitive label-free detection of cancer biomarkers, as well as, for effective screening of therapeutic compounds. This scheme, paves the way to a holistic approach where both the diagnosis and therapeutics can be taken into consideration.

Dépistage des cancers en médecine générale

Les dépistages ont une très grande importance dans la prévention de certains cancers. Ils permettent un diagnostic plus précoce de la tumeur et par conséquent, la mortalité, les douleurs, et les traitements parfois lourds, tels que les chimiothérapies, peuvent parfois ainsi être évités ou réduits. Le plus souvent, ce n'est pas la douleur qui permet de déceler un cancer : une tumeur n'est en elle-même pas douloureuse. C'est un groupement anarchique de cellules inorganisées.

Breast cancer screening

Breast cancer screening is the medical screening of asymptomatic, apparently healthy women for breast cancer in an attempt to achieve an earlier diagnosis. The assumption is that early detection will improve outcomes. A number of screening tests have been employed, including clinical and self breast exams, mammography, genetic screening, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging. A clinical or self breast exam involves feeling the breast for lumps or other abnormalities.

Dépistage

Le dépistage, en médecine, consiste à rechercher une ou plusieurs maladies ou anomalies dites « à risques » chez les individus d'une population donnée. Ces investigations sont suivies ou non de consultations médicales, d'examens cliniques et de traitements. De plus, le dépistage constitue une procédure préliminaire (test ou examen) visant à détecter un ou plusieurs signes ou symptômes caractéristiques d’une maladie ou d’un syndrome et pouvant potentiellement mener à une investigation plus approfondie.
